19 December, 2025 – Jira Integration, Matrix Progress, Mobile Experience, and Plan Overview Enhancements

Jira Integration (New)

• Connect and import Jira items: Connect to your Jira projects via secure OAuth 2.0 authentication, then selectively add high-level Jira issues to VisPlan. Rather than auto-importing thousands of items, you choose which specific issues to track as Actions in VisPlan for continuous monitoring.
• Multi-select Jira items: Add multiple Jira issues at once—select and import several items to the same Action or create multiple new Actions in a single operation. DevOps multi-action support works the same way.
• Bidirectional sync: Once added, Jira items stay synchronized with VisPlan. Name, description, dates, assignees, and progress automatically sync between systems so changes made in either platform are reflected in the other.
• Keep focus on what matters: Select the high-level Jira items that matter for your VisPlan—leave the detailed Jira issue hierarchy in Jira and track key deliverables in VisPlan.

Matrix Progress (New)

• Visual progress across your plan: The new Matrix progress feature displays progress indicators directly on Actions, showing completion status at a glance. For collapsed views, progress aggregates up to the Ambition or Capability level so you always see overall health.

Mobile Improvements

• Better mobile experience with pinch-to-zoom: Pinch-to-zoom on Android is now significantly improved with faster, more responsive zooming when viewing plans on mobile devices. Zoom in to see details or zoom out for full plan overview without opening dialogs. Perfect for reviewing complex plans in meetings or while on the go.
• Long-press gestures: Long-press on a plan in the overview to quickly open the plan. When you’re in the plan itself, long-press opens the sidebar. This gesture-based navigation makes it easier to pan and navigate the plan view without accidentally opening things when you’re trying to scroll or move around the canvas.

Improved Plan Status

• Plan status with Planner links: Plan overview now shows links to Planner charts and displays numbers for linked Buckets and Tasks for each Planner plan. This gives you instant visibility into synchronization status and plan health across both platforms without leaving VisPlan. Check how many items are synced to each Planner plan at a glance and navigate directly to Planner charts for detailed task tracking.
