August 25, 2026 – Clone/Move Fixes, Teams Tab Admin Consent, and Dashboard Fixes

Teams Tab Management

• Delegated admin consent for Teams tabs: Creating and removing a plan’s Teams channel tab no longer relies on resource-specific consent (RSC) permissions bundled in the Teams app manifest. A tenant admin now grants org-wide consent once, from the same dialog that previously prompted for tab permissions, and the affordances stay disabled with an explanatory tooltip until consent is granted.
• Fixed removing a Teams tab: Deleting a plan’s Teams tab silently failed to remove it. This is now resolved. Tenants that already granted the previous consent will need to re-approve once for this fix to take effect.

Clone and Move Plan Fixes

• Fixed failures when cloning or moving several plans at once: Cloning or moving a plan together with its sub-plans could fail for every plan after the first, because each one checked for the shared Strategic Objective / Key Result lists before they existed yet. All plans in the same clone/move (including from the cascading wizard) now succeed together.
• Fixed a cloned plan showing the wrong team: A plan cloned or moved into a site with no Microsoft 365 group of its own (such as a private channel site) could be filed under the team it was cloned from instead. It’s now correctly shown by its own site when the target has no group.

Dashboard Improvements

• Team shown on newly created plan cards: A plan’s dashboard card now resolves the team from the plan’s own site instead of momentarily showing the SharePoint path.
• Channel shown on cards for plans created with a Teams tab: Plans created together with a Teams tab now correctly show their channel on the dashboard card, including when opened from the Teams personal tab.
• Hid Pin and Delete for external plans: External plans can’t be pinned or deleted, so those options no longer appear on their dashboard card or context menu.
• Fixed deleting the card of a missing plan: Removing a dashboard card for a plan whose underlying data had already been deleted could hang indefinitely. This is now resolved.
• Fixed deleting a child plan not finding its parent’s links: Deleting a plan that is itself a sub-plan could miss the links held by its parent plan, since sub-plans share their Strategic Objective / Key Result lists with the top of the plan tree.
